COIN Pacific Forum – 2009 Edition (Postponed until further notice)
The COIN Pacific Forum, originally scheduled for June 4, has been postponed until further notice. Details will be forthcoming.
This is the previous announcement for the COIN Pacific 2009 Forum:
COIN Pacific has once again joined together with BC Innovation Council, Ocean Industries BC and Ocean Renewable Energy Group to host the 2009 COIN Pacific Forum! Join us on June 4, 2009 in acknowledging Ocean and Marinespace Week on Canada’s Pacific Gateway.
To register, see the event page.
At the 2009 COIN Pacific Forum, you will:
- Meet the leaders in the ocean and coastal economy sector;
- Share in profiling some of the initiatives and emerging opportunities;
- Honour the recipient of the BC Innovation Council Award. This award is partially funded by the 2008 COIN Pacific Forum participants;
- Learn the projects that are outperforming BC’s economy from the University of Victoria Ocean Initiative, released by Camosun College;
- Learn about innovation, productivity improvement and career development;
- Update yourself on investments such as Ocean Networks Canada and the plans for a new Ocean Technology Park in BC.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn how innovation, commercialization and development will lead the economy on the Coast.
