The Finance DM argued that we can move ahead immediately on the question of the business case and cost/benefit analysis for wastewater treatment. However, there would be no additional provincial resources to facilitate this work.
The DM-IGR also raised the issue of funding - specifically federal funding, the possibility that economic circumstances might mean that that funding is not available in a few years, and the need to move quickly to secure those federal resources.
